Blackbird T-shirts! (and more?)

I'd been tossing this idea around for years, and I figure it was high time I did it - I've found some fantastic cycling-related illustrations over the years, and many of them would make fantastic t-shirts.

Scroll down to the various images to see what's in stock and what's in the production line, and then...

Short sleeve t-shirts are $20
Long sleeve t-shirts are $25
Heavy cotton hoodies (pullover style) are $35

Prices are per item and include shipping anywhere (priority mail in the us, air to canada, surface anywhere else - add $5 if youre "anywhere else" and want air mail). I accept payment in the form of money orders in US dollars, cash in person (or at your own risk through the mail!) in us dollars or their equivalent in euros, or through paypal. Further payment instructions will follow order placement - but don't send any money until you've confirmed shirt availability!

There are also plans in the works to do some large low-tech posters of old cyclocross photos, and reproductions of old canvas parisian newspaper courier bags (rack-mounted, not waterproof, but damn cool). More on that later.

Less talk more rack

my own, only slightly tongue-in-cheek response to the blinders-on "fixed no brakes is the only way" attitude of some of the kids these days... hills? boxes? don't turn that tag down. (and a big thank you to Hazel for the initial concept on this one!)

Cette année, il pleut des vélos!

this year, it rains bicycles!

oh man, we can only hope... a french advertising illustration from the 1930s...

this will be the next shirt to get printed, in light blue with dark blue ink, and yellow with green ink. I'll post here when it's happening, but it'll likely be in the fall sometime.

Points de vue...

Celui de l'automobile... et celui du cycliste

That of the car... and that of the cyclist

pretty self-explanatory - an illustration from a 1950s french cycling magazine - though you cant see at this size that the cyclists surrounding the car are all having a joyous time, smiling and laughing, while the driver looks terrified...

Toe clip

from a 1896 dictionary of cycling terms... depicted as "humorous illustrations"...
