Offered for auction is a 50th Anniversary JACK TAYLOR HAND-BUILT TOURING FRAMESET.(Complete bike is shown,but only FRAMESET and SOME  components are included in the sale. Approx dimensions are as follows...25" Seat Tube centre to top, 22.5" Top Tube centre to centre,41" Wheel base. 130mm rear end spacing. The Frameset is made from Reynolds 531 Butted tubing, with Nervex type Professional lugset.Most braze-on stops and guides etc are fitted.The Frameset is supplied with CAMPAGNOLO type ACH111 sealed bottom bracket set, Stronglight type A9 alloy headset, and CAMPAGNOLO twin bolt alloy seatpin.All in very good,little-used condition with the exception of a few scratches that have been paint-matched and touched-in. The frameset is finished in red/orange enamel, with the famous Taylor double box-ling to most of the frame and forks. Transfers fitted include 'old English' style Down Tube, Original type head and seat tube, Reynolds transfers to frame and fork blades, with the 50TH ANNIVERSARY , and NERVEX P[ROFESSIONAL transfers to the seat tube.

Offered here is a stunning and original Jack Taylor 50th Anniversary Touring Frameset in excellent condition. The model is `Tour of Britain`. Frameset No 8462, This superb frame was built by the well-known Taylor Brothers in approx 1984. It has not had much use, and this is reflected in the very good-excellent overall condition. It rides extremely well.

Details as follows: Dimensions : 635mm Seat tube c-t, 570mm Top tube c-c, 1050mm Wheelbase c-c, 450mm Rear-End c-c, 600mm Front end c-c, 865mm Stand-over height, 270mm Bottom Bracket Height c-ground, 130mm over locknut Rear Spacing.

The Frameset is built with Reynolds 531 butted tubing, Nervex type Professional main-frame lugs,Campagnolo? front and Rear ends, Braze-ons for gears, brakes, Bottle cage,and 18 inch pump held behind Seat tube.

Finish is Orange/Red enamel with Blue lining to lugwork, White double box lining to Frame and Forks,'Old English'Down tube transfers, Original type Head/Seat transfers, 531 transfers to fork blades and Seat tube, and '50th Anniversary' transfer to Seat tube.

Fitted Stronglight A9 Headset and Campagnolo seat pin bolt, Note there is no bottom bracket fitted.

The overall condition is, as previously mentioned, excellent, with only a few minor paint scratches where hubs mount etc., and some minor and `sympathetic` colour matched touching up in places.
