Jack Taylor #8142

from the ebay listing for this bike:

You are bidding on a Jack Taylor lady's English touring bike, built in 1984 for my wife. She rode it very little. The original paint job is in excellent condition, and all the decals are perfectly intact. The frame is in nearly perfect condition, lugless Reynolds 531 steel, never been crashed. The fram and matching rack are stamped with the number 8142, indicating that the frame was built in 1984. There are a very few tiny rust spots, and some chips due to chain slap. Size is 46cm from the top of the seat tube to the center of the crank. Suntour front and rear deraileurs (5-gear cluster), Sugino crank (triple), Sunshine hubs, Mafac brakes, Tubular rims--I will include a few new sew-up tires, Avocet sadle, Bar-end shifters
