Very nice used Jack Taylor Tandem. Reynolds Tandem 531 steel frame w/curved seat tube & campagnolo drop outs.. The captain measures 56cm c-c seat and to tube. The stoker seat tube measures 52cm c-c. The frame shows a little discoloration from llight rust showing through the paint so it will probably need a restoration eventually, but right now it's just cosmetic. The bike has TA cranks, Campagnolo NR pedals in front and the black super leggera pedals in back. Campi NR seat posts, Mafac canti brakes with Mathauser pads, Cinelli bars & stem. Suntour bar end shifters. Wheels are 27 x1 1/4, tandem high flange hubs & Super Champion rims, 36h front & rear. 6 speed freewheel in back - also note the wheels have large wing nuts, not quick releases.. Derailleurs are Shimano Deore XT, also has Shimano 600 Aero brake levers. The serial number on the left rear drop out is 6441, which according to the Jack Taylor Registry indicates the bike was built in 1973. Overall the bike is in excellent mechanical shape and good cosmetic shape considering it's age.
