VERY RARE Garin hand-built cyclotouring frame, made by Nicolas Barra in the early 40's, while he was working at the Garin factory. It has the unusual hand-made Barra brakes (one of them at the back incomplete). Badge incomplete. It is dirty and scratched but will polish up beautiful, the aluminium as with Barra is high quality. Weld-ons for derailleur, chain guard and derailleur lever. This must be one of the earliest French welded frames around. 56 cm centre of BB to top of seat tube.
