At the same time as the list of registrants - which is filling with fantastic speed - was begun the prime list for entrants in the Critérium des porteurs de journaux, organized on February 13 by l'Intransigeant, l'Echo des Sports and La Pèdale. As of this time, many firms have stepped forward to contribute their share to the success of this race, which will join together a large body of enthusiastic riders. We give further details of the already announced primes.

The departure of the race will take place roughly at 10 a.m..
Everything is planned for the organization of the finish line, Our fellows Victor Brever and Constant Wouters, of l'Echo des Sports, MM. Jean de Lascoumettes, of l'Intransigeant, and our director Auguste Delerive, had an interview with the distinguished chief of the police force, M. Hussenet, who will put everything in order so that the finish is particularly tidy. An enclosure will be installed and the finish will take place at place du Tertre. La Commune Libre du Vieux Montmarte will make available the best pieces of their réportoire.
It should be noted that sporting musicians are cordially invited to enliven controls by concerts which, though improvised, will not be less welcome.
Let us emphasize that followers of any kinds, trainers or soigneurs are rigorously prohibited. However, the competitors will be authorized to be looked after or fed in fixed and mandatory controls, but only at these controls.
Specialites Leda, of Billancourt, offer two Leda parallelogram saddles, one for the winner of the men's category, the other for the winner of the women's category.
The master hatter Sools, sporting enthusiast, offer three silver cups, one for the first of the racers without a U.V.F. license; the second for the first of the veterans category; the third for the first of the women. It gives, moreover, fifteen caps of high luxury, of the marque match, for the first fifteen of the general classification.
In addition, the sporting direction of Magic City, the well-known establishment of the Place de l'Alma, once more showed its attachment to the cause of the riders by offering a sum of 100 francs which will be allotted later on.
Lastly, the excellent manufacturer of the Cyclone pump, our good friend Lacquit, offers four of its marvellous devices. Let us guarantee that those will be appreciated for their true value by all those who will have the happy chance to benefit from it.
The registry of entrants is at the disposal of future competitors, at the Café de la Grille, 121, rue Montmartre.
Let us recall that no entry can be recorded if it is not accompanied by the entry fee of 5 francs, which is refundable. Let us also firmly specify that the fact of being registered does not imply the acceptance of the competitor, the questions of qualification remaining within the exclusive domain of the technical Commission.
